We got Frosty's!!!

It's time to blab about a fabulous weekend. I hope you are having a good Monday & had an awesome weekend, too.

On Saturday, I caught up on the Little Britain USA. It's a very funny show. I havent seen the British version, but I'll try to catch up on it sometime.

Saturday night was a night I've been anticipating. Yes, my friends, regular season hockey is back on track!!! Woo hoo! The Predators lost on Friday night in Columbus, OH, but both teams hit the road to have a second match-up here in Nashville on Saturday night. The Preds lost in Columbus, but they made up for it Saturday night with a 6-3 victory. You all know what happens when the Preds score 5 goals at home, dont you? Of course, most of you dont. haha

In previous seasons, a large Taco Bell franchisee sponsored the team and you could take your ticket in for a free taco. I detest Taco Bell and never took them up on the offer. There is a new sponsor this season. Thankfully, it's for something that I love. Frosty's from Wendy's. The arena chant even flows easy off the tongue. When the team was getting close to 5 goals, the crowd used to chant, "We want taco's." Well, that chant has been updated to, well, you get the idea. This promo is something I'll gladly accept though.

Wow, I just wrote a 2000 word essay on Frosty's & tacos.

We came home Saturday night and watched SNL... very funny. I even felt warm toward Palin for a split second.

Sunday was a big football game. The Titans won over Kansas City and remain as the only undefeated team so far this season. I hope they can keep that up next Monday night against Indy.

Have a good week, y'all!!!

Mmmm! I love Wendy's chocolate frosty!

I'm still amazed at your interests in sports! I've never known a gay man to be so into it! Wouldn't it be entertaining to have a gay sportscasting show???!!

I'm glad you had such an exciting weekend, Mimi. I get the feeling, through your post, that you are still reeling from the experience. I used to love dipping my fries in my frosty when I was a kid. They have those new vanilla frostys now, I don't think they would be very good. Maybe I'll work out a deal that when the score 5 points - Whitney will come out and sing a song. Before long they will be chanting - "We want Whitney, We want Whitney!" That'll sell a few albums!

I"m daydreaming. Sorry, Girl!

Love ya, W.

Fun blab :)

I absolutely love junk food but manage to avoid it. Around here we have something called "Lido Pizza." It's garbage. The crust is 99% butter and thin like a cracker, there is no sauce (and what there is is sweet like jam), and each pizza has a guaranteed weight of 17 oz. of whole milk mozzarella on top.

Addictive.
